Google is going to terminate my blog

Google has dropped support for legacy blog migration so they won't respond to emails and their broken system doesn't recognize my user id, so due to them being incompetent, our blog is going to be terminated on may 2012 sometime. I will try to get a post up with a link to a new blog before that happens so that we can continue to create new posts. Maybe I will use a different company with better policies than Google the next time around.

This sounds like something I should be worried about. Can you explain to me what legacy blog migration means and how it could affect my blogger blog please? I would sure hate to lose my back catalogue of posts.

Make sure you export your blog so you can import it into another service like WordPress.

Silly Google. I've been happy with WordPress, for what it's worth. Now I need to go peruse your archives and save some of the articles I like most. I did that when Systemic Babble went offline. I think some things are worth archiving.

Hi MBP, yeah, unless you got an email about it you don't need to worry. They gave me a couple warning that I missed the boat on migrating my blog. I'll look at making a wordpress one right now Tesh.

Actually it seems that they haven't locked editing though they drastically changed certain things. I just published a post ok. I looked at wordpress, Tesh, and it requires downloading some plugin thingy which I'll do later to take a better look at it but I'm not on my home comp at the moment.
