The cogs are beginning to turn

Heres some of my work from the past few days: A cube or two and a model or two and what happened when I tried to make two cubes.. still working on separating the resources and textures in XNA.

Looking good :)
I wondered if you'd be interested in a lnk exchange? Let me know what you think :)
You posted last week on one of my articles, and now mine is more established, I'd quite like to get some link exchanges with other people going.

Awesome - I'm gonna make a page and also a widget at the bottom of my blog. But the design I use doesn't allow a sidebar unfourtunately :(

Those spaceships looks sharp. Are these for the game you're working on? What style of game do you envision it to be?

They do look god don't they? Actually Anton is going to make some models for the game were making. Thsoe spaceships were merely to demonstrate that I got 3D textured models working in XNA. The game were are aiming to make has more to do with swords and sorcery I think, a turn based game on a "board" of blocks. My first task whcih I have been trying to accomplish is to make multiple blocks and build the "ground" out of them. I have found a couple good block models but they look too futuristic so I need to just use geometry and that has proven a bit tricky in XNA whereas its a cakewalk in OpenGL.
