Steefel finally told what the two new classes do in the Lotro expansion. Here's the news on that.
And they also told a ton of stuff about what the book releasing soon is like and Moria as it stands under development here. Enjoy :)
..p.s. Here's one on book 14 http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=174167
p.p.s. Here's why I'm so freaking excited for it: http://www.lotro.com/article/562

Man, that sounds crazy, I might start thinking of starting up my subcription again. I bet I am still the only lvl 50 drawf hunter on firefoot!
Wow.. a dwarf hunter.. you don't see those every day. A hunter with 10 seconds of near invincibility. In the moors, now that would be scary if there was an army of those. Anyways yeah I can't wait for the dungeon and book upgrade. Maybe people will actually be willing to do the Annuminas instances and I'll get to see them. Or perhaps I'll finish the books with all my characters :P. I haven't even done book 13 yet. I really want to get my hunter to 50. Shes 42 now. For some reason I think they really hit the money nail on the head when they created the champion and hunter. The new warden class with its combo stuff also sounds fun to play.
Yeh, I started my hunter after everyone supposedly dropped their's after it got a massive nerf I think the bard's arrow. I was up to the final couple of chapters in book 12 when I quit in early February. I think it was the one in Trollshaws where you had to fight all those elite trees. I tried to solo it but got lost, mobbed and never finished it.
Forgot to say, but I can't believe that everyone doesn't make a hunter cos they can just port everywhere saving so much time and money. My first char was a champion and got him to 40 before I hit Angmar which sucked at the time. I started the hunter and then played a lot more relaxedly and did most of my traits while managing to get to 50 in just over 9 days playtime, which was particularly quick at that time. I'm not sure whether it has changed.
But I know the porting everywhere helped lol.
I remember doing that quest with 3 people , dunno how come you wanted to solo it but more power to you I suppose. :P As far as rolling a hunter alt, I think everyone should they are definitely the most fun and utile class in the game. If absolutely EVERYONE had hunters though you couldn't run any dungeons, or do the books, or raid the Rift and that would be sad so I'm glad people enjoy some variety. After hunters I see champions and guardians the most. The most uncommon classes would have to be captains at lvl 50 followed by the more common lore masters and minstrels. I wonder where wardens and rune-keepers are going to fall. Having a second light armored class should be interesting.
actually burglars are prolly right after captains. Except in the Ettenmoors, they are not very popular, though I don't know why cuz they are dead useful.
